West Kingsdown: Thieves load Jeep on to truck in broad daylight

Brazen thieves loaded a Jeep onto a truck in broad daylight.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee had been parked next to a business premises in London Road, West Kingsdown, yesterday.

At around 3.50pm, the car was seen being lifted onto a truck described as a Mitsubishi Canter, which then made off from the scene.

The truck had a white cab and is said to have had tape covering number plates. The driver was described as a man, wearing a black woolly hat. A man was also seen travelling as a passenger and described as being 6ft tall, with dark, tanned skin. He was wearing tracksuit bottoms, a baseball cap, and a body warmer.
