Police appeal after attempted robbery

Police are appealing for information following an attempted robbery in Castle Row, Canterbury in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Two men were walking home at 1.50am when they were approached by two other men who asked if they had any money.

When they said they didn't, they walked off, only to return to them a short while later.

Both men suffered facial injuries. They were taken to hospital.

The two men are described as 5ft 10ins tall with medium builds.

CCTV is being reviewed by officers this morning.
