A 30-year-old man who was reported missing from the Cedar House Psychiatric Hospital in Barham, near Canterbury, has been found safe and well.

Police issued a public appeal as they became increasingly concerned for Matthew Crocker's welfare after he had been missing from the hospital since February 22.

They said he was "extremely vulnerable" and suffered from learning disabilities.

Police in Ashford found Mr Crocker at around 2pm on Wednesday (March 1) and returned him to care.
