Jordan Smith charged with six assaults, failing to stop after a car crash in Canterbury and driving without an MOT

A man has been charged after a series of incidents in Canterbury city centre.

Police were called to St George's Place after a crash outside Waitrose store at 7.20pm on Tuesday.

They arrested Jordan Smith and charged him with six assaults, failing to stop after a car crash and driving without an MOT.

The homeless 24-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear before magistrates in Medway today.
