Works will take place between 8pm on Friday, February 16 and 5am the following day.

The alternative route will be via St Peter's Place, St Peter's Roundabout, Rheims Way, London Road Roundabout, London Road, A290 St Dunstans Street and vice versa.

A spokesperson for Kent County Council, the authority responsible for highway maintenance, said the closure is necessary to enable carriageway marking works to be carried out.
