Meanwhile, Jenny Hall started for England under-21s in their 0-0 draw against Scotland in Edinburgh on Friday but sat-out the 1-0 win over the Scots the following day.

Canterbury’s Jack Balsdon started for England under-16s against Scotland in a 9-0 win at Lilleshall National Sports Centre on Saturday but did not play in the 10-0 win over their rivals the following day.

Lucy Hyams was captain and Rebecca Weston also turned-out for the under-16 girls in their 3-3 draw against Scotland on Saturday. Hyams picked up a calf-injury and sat out the following day’s 4-1 win.
