Car crash on A28 at Chartham near Canterbury sees at least two taken to hospital

Multiple people have been taken to hospital after two cars crashed at an A-road junction.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the junction of Hatch Lane and the A28 near Chartham, outside Canterbury, shortly before 3.30pm.

A number of people were assessed by paramedics and treated at the scene.

An ambulance service spokesman confirmed "at least two" have been taken to hospital for further treatment, but was not able to confirm numbers.

Police attended to help manage traffic, but have now left the scene.

There are not thought to be any delays.
