Police officers are making door-to-door inquiries after a young man was assaulted close to Ashford town centre.
A man in his 20s was taken to the William Harvey Hospital following the attack at Wellesley Road at 2.30pm today.
The extent of his injuries is not yet known but they are not believed to life-threatening.
A police cordon is in place while officers conduct their investigation.
